We are the Milwaukee Chapter of the National non-profit organization “Quilts For Kids.” We are a 501c3 organization so your donations are tax deductible. The Milwaukee Chapter focuses its efforts to help children and families in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Your donations are used locally as we support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Ronald McDonald House, both in Wauwatosa, WI.
Our volunteer quilters use brightly colored kid-friendly fabric to make patchwork quilts. These quilts are made from new, high quality cotton fabric with cotton or poly-cotton batting. They are machine pieced and machine quilted to be durable enough for frequent washing and years of loving use. We do not accept quilts made from used or repurposed materials or fleece.
In order to maintain high quality standards, all quilts are washed and inspected by the chapter leader before being donated.
